    • When to go for trek in Nepal:
Trekking in Nepal is possible to do at any time of the year but it depends on where you are planning to trek. There is always somewhere to go and something to do in Nepal, whatever the weather

Autumn season from September to November when the monsoon ends and days become crystal clear. This is the real feature of the autumn and winter months. The mornings and especially the evenings can feel particularly brisk, but in sunshine the conditions are ideal for trekking.

Trekking during the winter Season from December to February is ideal for trekking at lower elevations, generally below 3000 meters because this season is noted for occasional snowfall at higher elevations. You must be careful planning trek with high passes for this period because the high passes and ridges are may be blocked with snow and footpaths impassable.

Spring season is the pre-monsoon period that extends from March to end of the May when the days can become hazy, with the distance view obscured, and clouds are a common features if the afternoons and the both days and nights are getting warmer. The real treat in the Spring months are the flowers, especially the rhododendrons.

ummer Season (June to August): Summer months really continue up to mid-September making travel wet and warm. These times are blessed for the keen botanist as the higher valleys and meadows blossom with flowers and lush vegetation. During this season, you can trek in the rain-shadow (places are out of reach of the rain clouds because of the high mountains) areas north of the Himalaya like Mustang and Dolpo.

    • If you really want to enjoy tour trekking holiday in Nepal, get fit before the trek not on the trek. Arriving in Nepal out of shape having taken no exercise for months, possibly years, is asking for trouble. Nepal, like like in general, is full of ups and downs. Run walk, swim, bike, do circuits, whatever but exercise before you to. You donít need to be marathon-fit, but you will enjoy it more if your legs have reasonable muscle tone.

    • Clothing:
For trekking in Nepal you donít need a lot of specialist equipment, indeed, most porters wear little more than a cotton shirt and trousers. But for Westerners the choice is wider. Light cotton trousers or loose skirt o shorts, with a t-shits and a pair or running shoes or lightweight boots is the norm on most treks. In the morning and early evening this might be supplemented by a fleece sweater and pants, or perhaps a light down jacket or vest. Itís usually only on the higher treks or between November and January that wool shirts and thermal underwear become necessary. Unless it is overcast or windy, the day is usually warm, but the early mornings and the evenings can be very cold so, unless you want to retire early to your sleeping bag, take warm clothing, a down parka, gloves and wool hat.

If you have favorite pair of comfortable walking boots, stick with them. If you are looking for a pair for first time, ask yourself the following: will I be going above the snowline, or on very rough and rocky terrain? A specialist retailer should be able to advise you on the most suitable boot once he know your plan. Normally fabric upper boots, although generally less durable or waterproof than leather boots, are ideal for most trekking.

    • You don't need special equipments to go to trek in the most of the regions of Nepal. A comfortable hiking boot, a sleeping bag and a few clothes as per the travelling season are the basic things you need. It is best to travel light. Please note that most of the equipments we need for trek in Nepal is possible to buy or hire in Kathmandu and Pokhara.

    • Most of the treks in Nepal requires permits/ conservation area entry tickets. When you book your trek with us, all the necessary trekking permits will be arranged from our team.

    • If you are coming for short and easy trek, you can travel with normal regular insurance but if you are planning for trekking in high passes/ remote area you must check if your insurance covers trekking activities and the conditions or not. It would be very costly to pay a helicopter rescue at 5000 meters.
