It is also one of the highest lakes in the world, sitting at 2980m in a valley surrounded by lush forests and stunning mountain views. The lake is as deep as 167 meters, over 16km2 and is so large that it will reflect the entirety of the Tibetan Himalaya range in its surface, so legend has it.
